ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
High school diploma. Significant experience in office management, practices and procedures.
Possesses strong clerical skills, ability to construct sentences and use grammar correctly, ability to enter data accurately on forms and in the computer, good computational skills, and proficiency in the use of email and electronic spreadsheets. Possesses working familiarity with the Windows-based operating environment; and strong skills in the use of Microsoft Word and internet search engines.
Must have strong organizational skills; proven attentiveness to detail; and ability to independently produce error-free work, and timely complete assigned tasks.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, good customer service skills, and professionalism.
Must have a current valid Ohio driver license and an insured personal vehicle for agency use. Must have a record of reliable work attendance. Must have demonstrated continuous satisfactory job performance.
Must be able to meet all requirements and obtain all certificates required to perform the job or any aspect of the job, and to access funding for performance of any aspect of the job.
Preferred:
Completion of college coursework in areas related to the position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs confidential administrative functions for Superintendent and administrative offices including, but not limited to, preparation/handling of confidential correspondence, reports, and filing.
Transcribes/prepares meeting minutes, and performs a variety of administrative support/clerical job duties, as assigned.
Screens calls for and, as requested, responds to stakeholders on behalf of Superintendent.
Contributes to a positive work environment.
HOURS:
Generally, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Flexible as needed.
