BUSINESS SUPPORT MANAGER
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Associate Degree with concentration in accounting/business/finance or related field. This requirement may be satisfied by five or more years of continuous employment in the fiscal department of a county Health or DD agency.
Working knowledge of current business practices including contracting, billing, budgeting, cost allocation, inventory control, fixed assets, accounting practices, and accounting software.
Good communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to effectively communicate with management, staff, consumers, and families. Demonstrated ability to work effectively unsupervised as well as with a team.
Two years of related work experience.
Must possess a working knowledge of windows-based computer programs including Excel, Word, and email.
Must have a valid Ohio driver license and an insured, personal vehicle for use while on agency business. Must have and maintain a good driving record.
Must have a record of reliable work attendance and continuous satisfactory job performance.
Preferred:
Evidence of successful supervision of others.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Working familiarity with the National School Lunch Program.
Experience working in a financial capacity within a public agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the proper functioning of the Agency’s Record Retention Process/Policy, the Agency’s Family Support Services Program, and the National School Lunch Program.
Assume the duties of a Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) Co-coordinator.
Prepare the monthly database to support Third Party Payer (TPP) billing and ensure the timely mailing of said billing.
Prepare and process claims to Medicaid for TCM services, and calculate the related statistics to be used in the preparation of the Agency’s annual DODD Cost Report.
Coordinate and deliver service delivery documentation when necessary during Audits and Accreditation Reviews.
Manage staff who perform various Agency functions to ensure accurate, quality performance and proper processing of data from documents submitted by various Agency departments, including, but not limited to, change orders, transportation attendance records, Accounts Payable vouchers, and certificates of proper billing.
Assist the Director of Business and the Business Manager in the support of the overall operation of the Business Department, including the supervision of Agency personnel in the provision of assistance and backup, if necessary, for such areas as fleet management, courier services, and Accounts Payable.
HOURS:
Generally, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Must be flexible to meet the needs of the agency.

Level 5 (Management Contract)
