Ability-Works

  • This 5-week paid program is designed to assess and build workplace readiness skills by providing you with a paid opportunity to experience the schedule, tasks, and expectations of a typical part-time, entry-level job in your local community.  Job coaches will be on-site to train and guide you throughout the day.  They offer Level 1 and Level 2 work sites to meet at a wide range of workplace readiness skills.  2 sessions are offered throughout the summer. Dates for summer 2025 TBD. Referrals go through OOD.

Abilities First

  • Varying half-day sensory motor and writing camp for ages 4 – grade 3. Summer 2025 programming dates range from June 11 – July 26. Accepts insurance, Medicaid, and scholarships.

Beyond Words

  • A team of Music Therapists and Dance Instructors offering alternative methods of communication. Programs available for ages 2 and up. Open enrollment will begin February 15, 2025.  Summer programs begin June 2025. New students, please complete the Summer Camp Intake Form to enroll for the program you’re interested in.  Private Pay and Family Supports funding accepted.

Camp Can Do

  • This eight-week program is geared toward educating youth on a variety of positive and socially appropriate pursuits, as well as providing a high level of supervision for fun summer activities.  Camp Can Do campers will participate in adapted recreational activities like art, music, reading, language skills, speech, socialization, swimming, field trips and special events.  Camp Can Do is a unique and innovative approach to providing educational and recreational opportunities for youth ages 5 to 13 during the summer months.  The Camp Can Do programs runs Mondays through Thursdays in four two-week sessions. Registration is in person or over the phone.   A $20 non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration.  Please see Online Registration Forms and Child Information Forms.

Camp Happiness

  • Camp will take place June 16, 2025-July 25, 2025, at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe.  Campers age 5 to 18 have the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities including games, arts and crafts, swimming, field trips–all modified to meet the needs of each individual. Youth Challenge (formerly KRAZY KAMP)

  • Youth Challenge offers year-round adapted sports and recreational programming throughout the Greater Cleveland area to children with such disabilities muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, and spinal bifida, or that are blind or deaf.  Participants are paired up at each program with a teenage volunteer.  See YC Calendar for dates and registration information.

FACEtime Summer Camp (Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center (CHSC))

Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center Camp

Flying Horse Farms

  • A camp for children ages 7-21 who has a diagnosis within the areas of cardiology, hematology, oncology, rheumatology, gastrointestinal disorders, pulmonary disorders, rare diseases, and facial anomalies. Peak Potential Therapy

  • Campers engage in structured learning activities in addition to daily field trips to generalize skills while focusing on social skills, communication, and emotional regulation.  This is therapeutic program was developed specifically for children with disabilities to provide them with a fun and interactive way to develop social skills, participate in the activities that typical kids take for granted, and work on their IEP goals.  Dates include the week of June 1 through the week of August 14.  See here to register.
