PROGRAM SUPERVISOR – RESIDENTIAL
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Associate Degree. Experience working directly with persons with developmental disabilities.
Flexible schedule and ability to meet direct care needs of all residents of facility.
Must have good communication skills. Must possess a working knowledge of windows-based computer programs such as Word and Outlook including the manipulation of attachments. Ability to access documents and templates on agency’s website.
Must have a valid Ohio driver license and an insured, personal vehicle for use while on agency business. Must have and maintain a good driving record. Must have a record of reliable work attendance and continuous satisfactory job performance.
Preferred:
Familiarity with regulations related to operation of an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID). Knowledge of and ability to apply behavior support techniques and protocols as they relate to the DD system.
Supervisory experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to manage and meet the time commitment for operating a group home for adult residents.
Responsible for all functions related to the home and all personnel issues while on duty.
Gather information in order to assist with the development of ISPs for residents and all related record-keeping requirements (back-up documentation for ISP).
Assist with ISP development, implementation, and documentation. Attend annual ISP meetings and staff meetings.
Supervisory duties include giving employee assignments, training, orienting, scheduling, evaluating, following discipline procedures, filling in on shifts when coverage is needed, etc.
Ensure that all documentation and records are completed as required by regulatory agencies. Complete all paperwork relevant to resident services and benefits.
Ensure operational compliance and the provision of direct care services/support to Meister ICF-IID residents in accordance with ICF-IID regulations, Medicaid tags, Ohio DODD licensure rules, Individual Plans of residents, and other applicable standards.
HOURS:
Flexible and available as needed. Regular weekly schedule includes evenings and weekend hours.
SALARY:
Level 5 (Management Contract)
